As the spring flowers begin to bloom and the days grow brighter here in 2026, our school spirit is reaching a whole new level of vibrance. April is a month of renewal and strength, and we are especially proud to honor a very important theme: Month of the Military Child...featuring our Purple Up! celebration.

To our new students and families who have joined us this spring, a huge Wildcat welcome! We know that starting at a new school can be a big transition, and we are here to support you every step of the way. You’ve joined a community that values resilience, heart, and the unique journey of every student.

Honor the Military Child 💜 & Celebrate Resilience 🪴

This April, we are turning our focus toward the "dandelion" of the student world: our military-connected kids. Military children move frequently and face unique challenges, yet they bloom wherever they are planted. Here is how we can show our support:

• Purple Up! Day: Mark your calendars! We invite everyone to wear purple on our designated Purple Up! Day (April 15) to show support and thank our military youth for their strength and sacrifices. Purple represents the combination of all branch colors: Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Navy blue.
• Share Your Story: If you are a military-connected student, we want to celebrate you. Feel free to share your experiences or the places you’ve lived with your classmates to help us build a more connected community. We also encourage you to participate in our Art Contest with the theme Share Your Story. Deadline is April 10 for all artwork.
• Acts of Kindness: Take a moment to reach out to a peer who might be new to the area. A simple "hello" or an invitation to sit together at lunch goes a long way in making everyone feel at home.
