Happy New Year and welcome to January 2026! There is a unique energy that fills our hallways as we return from break—a sense of renewed purpose, the clarity of a fresh start, and the excitement of a new chapter unfolding. Whether you are a returning Wildcat or joining our pride to kick off the new year, we are so happy to have you as part of our community.

To our new students and families, we extend a particularly warm "New Year" welcome. We know that stepping into a new school at the turn of the year is a big milestone, but you are now part of a supportive and spirited family. We can’t wait to see you bring your unique talents to our community as we resume classes and dive back into our studies.

This January is a blank canvas, and we are all co-authors of the goals we will achieve together. Let’s fill this month with curiosity, hard work, and school spirit. We have a busy month ahead as we wrap up the first half of the year; be sure to show your Wildcat pride by supporting our musicians at the DoDEA Middle School Honor Band and visiting the 8th Grade Art Gallery in the Performance Hall.

As we approach the last day of Quarter 2, stay focused and finish strong! We will have a brief mid-month break for a Teacher Work Day and to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day, before hitting the ground running for the first day of Quarter 3 and Semester 2. For some students, this means new ENCORE class. Check your schedules on Aspen.
