Pretty in Pink & PAWS Pride

Last Friday was our First Spirit Day where student were encouraged to wear Blue and Gold. However, some of our new 6th-grade Wildcats chose kindness and decided to honor the legendary Dolly Parton, putting our school's core values directly into practice. By celebrating Dolly’s timeless legacy of literacy, generosity, and unabashed self-expression, our students demonstrated exactly what it means to embody the WMS PAWS Behavior...and wore PINK instead. 

Dolly Parton represents active kindness. By turning a spirit day into a celebration of positivity, students embodied the SHOW KINDNESS piece of our PAWS Expectations. They came together with a plan, lifted each other up, shared plenty of laughs, and brought an unmistakable spark of warmth to the halls.

This student-led decision proved that living out school expectations can be as fun as it is meaningful. Our 6th-grade Wildcats showed that when you wear your values...and your pink...with pride, you help build a brighter school community for everyone.
