Great Start to 2026-2027 at WMS!

Wildcat Parents,

I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that we have had a great start to the school year.  It is wonderful to have your children in the building along with the excitement that they bring.

I also wanted to take a minute to remind everyone that on every Thursday, school will dismiss at 1:35 PM, one hour earlier than usual.  This will provide teachers time to collaborate and plan with their colleagues.

Finally, the PTSO has a message that they would like to share with you as well:

Dear Middle School Families,

As we begin a new school year, I’d like to encourage all of our families to consider joining our Middle School PTSO.

The PTSO plays an important role in strengthening our school community and supporting our students, teachers, and staff. Membership helps make special events, student activities, teacher appreciation, and other programs throughout the year possible.

You don’t have to volunteer or attend meetings to become a member—simply joining is a meaningful way to support our school. And if you would like to become more involved, there will be plenty of opportunities to volunteer and connect with other families throughout the year.
 

I encourage you to take a moment to join and support the wonderful work our PTSO is doing for our students.
